Day faithful readers!
A lot has happened here in Korea. The past few days were mainly devoted to excursions. We have visited several research institutes and companies.
Tuesday we went to have a fusion power station. This is really very impressive. Fusion means nuclear energy but safe for people who do not understand it. However, this is not yet commercially available, and cost-effective. Of course we could not take pictures, so you must believe it really but very powerful!
In France they are the first viable fusion power station to make about the world, but Korea was not allowed to do so because they had no experience with it. So they 'ff' itself a fusion reactor built and now they do it. Really really what this country (similar to GB in size and population) get all together in technology. They started late with the industry because they've been to 54 in war.
The following excursion was a nuclear power plant. This is not the safe nuclear energy

Day Thuisfront!
The trip to Korea went very well. The second flight had 'n hour delay but that was offset by the good food on the go. Arrived in Korea showed that they see the good mexican flu seriously. All passengers go through a quarantine counter etc. Also running here and there people with masks and stuff, but otherwise we have not noticed yet.
From the plane we took to our Hostel karaokebus a crazy ride. Along the way we were told how they had arranged this hostel: They have sent a woman who rented two rooms. This was not enough, but because they wanted us not reject them in Seoul has a very flat bought and rebuilt. So now we have a whole apartment to ourselves, very relaxing. Welcome to my blog for my trip to Korea and (later) to New Zealand.
Thursday, August 13th we leave 30 mechanical engineers for South Korea for a study. In the first place to the world leading technology to discover. In addition to the beautiful culture and unforgettable experience.
The first six days we stay in Seoul, the capital of Korea, where we many companies go visits and culture go see. Then we travel to Daejon, in the interior of Korea, in two days for the companies and research institutes of the Science Town to visit. Then we travel to the South East coast, where we are in five days as much of Gyeong Ju and Pohang want to see. Then we fly to Jeju-Do. This is a paradisiacal island where we four days long of nature go enjoy and under other a night in a temple will be staying. The last six days of the trip again find place in Seoul.
I will try to keep you informed of my journey, and occasionally some nice photos.
