Weekend

Wow, just returned from a weekend away. We have experienced everything, Snowstorm, geysers, sea lions, beach.

The intention was to spend a weekend to go hiking in the mountains. We Liz and me. So Friday afternoon we went to our rental car and drove to Hanmer Springs. This place is situated in the mountains and is known for its hot water. Along became increasingly less sunny and slowly began to snow. Mind you, we thought we had sunny weekend ahead. The last 10 miles to our hostel, we slowly made our car.

Arriving at the Hostel we were lucky. Once a month free dinner. So cozy with other backpackers eaten. Evening spent cozy by the fire and tell stories. 3 New friends made that happen on the same side going up. The next morning, together with those people went to the Spa. The baths were filled with delicious hot water from the geysers. Coincidentally I had just bought a waterproof bag for my camera, so I have some nice pictures on the spot can make. If you few hours in the spa to spend with people you will also know more about them. One was dismissed and decided to go traveling. The other had in four years, huge amounts of money and had no intention of returning to England. And the third is with us drove back to Christchurch, it was uncertain whether he got a visa to work in Australia. So he took the plane home tomorrow either will spend two years working in Australia.

Anyway, once out of the Spa, we drove to Kaikoura. A coastal town 'where the mountains measuring the sea'. Very nice there. We have taken a room together with three guests. Liz and I are later in the day still pictures being in the neighborhood and in the evening we all went out. It was a Saturday night and we were half the people in the popular pub haha. The high season is here at least not yet begun. Next morning Liz and I went for a hike. The weather in this town was very different in Hamner Springs. We both have our koppies burned at sea. It seems you so be careful. The ozone hole is apparently over New Zealand. After the hike we said goodbye to Gareth and Papa Bear and the third we took it.

That was briefly the weekend. The day we left seems already a week ago. Everywhere we drove had beautiful views. You fell from one surprise to another. From snow to the mountains to the sea to coniferous forest. We've all seen it. Way from one place to another, we often stopped to briefly enjoy the view. Owww, talked about the drive on the left. On foot I have been many car accidentally encountered because 'of' n came across': p. However, despite Liz than English, I have ridden almost everything. It was really bad. All weekend, no beauty mistake. So that's a windfall if I want to ride more often. And of course it was also used for Liz because it was a machine haha.

I try the stories too long to make it even to keep up. So I'm off again. Once I get something spectacular meemaak you are the first to hear ;)

Liz and I have quite a lot of pictures so I made a small selection. Browse through it as quietly and enjoy the views!

Regards,

Beefy

Yeah!

    Hi Tim
After several attempts to call you, but what does not work, but I react this way.
have your story (little) and read it all looks super adventurous off. It seemed as if you came down a ski jump fly. Beautiful pictures of the sunset and the rest are also beautiful photographs. Too bad it will not succeed with this task. Hopefully that is good. The telefooen lies next to you, or something similar. But it did not work for you to speak. We will try again tonight. Perhaps we'll get it then.
To hearing programs. Greetings from ado

    Hi Tim,

We heard from Rene that your beautiful photos on your site previously, are indeed very pretty pictures but that country is so large that it will take longer. Before the country also must meet all wetjes as in our small country.
If I read you all after 3 days holiday there so enjoy it while you can.

Nice to read that I have more readers :)

Rene is a bit more active with messages places than I, I believe. But from what we read, he also called after his sentence.

And indeed, here on the South Island but 1 million people live and it's about 3x as big as the Netherlands.
